Out of more than a billion logs in in Facebook in 24 hours, 600,000 are perpetrators who are trying to connect to the messages, pictures or other personal information of the social network users.

The figures disclosed for the first time by Facebook show how much this social network is bombarded by hackers. This information is disclosed in a blog posting on Facebook unfolding some new security measures that are implemented within the site in order to block these efforts. Security experts have said it is a major concern and that people should be more careful when selecting their passwords when responding to offers of their Facebook friends.

"When a hacker takes over a user account in Facebook, he can post messages, send messages and have access to all private information. Facebook has more trouble with the security that should be dealt ",Graham Cluley, a senior chief of technology at Sophos, computer security company, said. 

The most common reason why hackers break others profiles on Facebook is an easy way for them to distribute fraud and to send false offers to friends of broken profile, and to attempt to sell goods and benefit financially. Cluley also notes that the number of teenagers that hacker is increasing, and who attack the accounts of their school friends to blackmail them. Security experts have urged people to have complex passwords in order to avoid hacking of their personal accounts and have different passwords for each digital service they use.
