Karate sportsmen from karate club Zvecan in the Serbian championship won in Paracin on April 22nd, one gold, one silver and one bronze medal in combat.

ZVECAN, april 2012th - Karate Club Karate sportsmens from Zvecan in Serbian championship in Paracin conquered on  April 22nd one gold, one silver and one bronze medal in combat. The Gold medal won Milica Vucic, silver Svetozar Radulovic and the bronze Andija Ficovic. Milica Vucic won the gold medal in the competition more than 1200 competitors which have performed for more than 120 teams.

She says that she did not hope for such a success, but with the coaches, family and friends support everything is possible. She trains 90 minutes per day, with her 13 years she has won 4 medals on the national competitions. "It was not easy. In the finals I defeated national team member of Serbia. I had 8 matches and all were arduous "'she said.

Zvecan karate club coach Ljubisa Krasic says that this is a great success, because behind all these medals stands great work and hours of hard training". In order that child to appear at all in this official competition, it needs first to win a medal in the regional competition. Fifteen days earlier we had Kosovo championship. In Karate Federation of Serbia there are four regions - Kosovo, Belgrade, Vojvodina and central Serbia region, emphasizes Krasic.

He says that it was very difficult and it behind each medal stand 6 to 7 matches. "Believe me, everything what is worth in karate at that age, it was that day in Paracin", says coach Krasic. Zvecan Karate Club has more than 60 members. The trainings maintain 4 times a week in the hall for physical education, of elementary school Vuk Karadzic in Zvecan. This is not exactly the most appropriate solution, and like most sports clubs here, space is the biggest problem for them.

Despite this, KC Zvecan has beautiful plans. "At the end of May ahead of us is Serbia’s Cup for older age categories - from the 98th year and elder, and we hope that in summer to maintain seven-day preparation where we shall gather all Kosovo most promising sportiest in one place, to work with them in order to continue and in the new season with all these great results, "adds Krasic.
