United States if America wants to cooperate with President of Serbia, Tomislav Nikolic on further integration of Serbia in the EU and resolving the remaining outstanding issues with Kosovo, stated the State Department spokeswoman Victoria Niland.

For the Tanjug correspondent in Washington she said that American State Secretary Hillary Clinton, immediately after the inauguration, called Nikolic to congratulate him election on the President function and to tell him that that America wants to cooperate with him.

"She underlined in conversation that the main interest is that Serbia continues its way towards EU and to achieve opened and transparent relationship with Kosovo", said Niland, transmits RTS.
