Footnote on footnote?
The Government of Serbia does not give up from the footnote, as a condition for representatives in regional forums on where Pristina participates, claims Deputy Prime Minister for European integration Suzana Grubjesic.
The changes will exist, since the absence of Serbia from these meetings harms the state, says Grubjesic. The newspaper Blic states, that Serbian government denies Vice-President for European integration Suzana Grubjesic, which claims that no one from government did not authorized her to seek new formula for regional representation.
Grubjesic indicates that some changes shall be because she considers that Serbia's refusal to attend such meetings because of the footnote only harms the state.
Serbian Deputy Prime Minister for European integration claims that it is not true that the Serbian government discussed whether to remain in force the previous decision of previous Serbian government representatives to leave each regional meeting where Kosovo is not represented with a star and footnote.
In it should be written that the name does not prejudge the status of Kosovo and that in accordance with Resolution 1244 and the International Court of Justice.
According to Grubjesic, a rigid interpretation of and the conclusion of the Government and instructions developed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs does not bring anything good to our representatives in these meetings, and this damages the state of Serbia, transfers RTS.
