Mitrovica -Last meeting of the Board of Directors of Kosovo Privatization Agency gave the green light to the management of "Trepca" to unblock the process of selling the concentrate.

The tender for the sale of mineral concentrate promulgated on March 5 this year was
canceled on April 24. Two days later KPA Board has decided to allow the former
metallurgical giant sale of raw minerals, a process that has been blocked since the
beginning of the year.

"Trepca" will now sell five thousand tons of lead and zinc ore to the Company "Glencore
International" from Switzerland.

Ferat Shala, Managing Director of "Trepca", said that based on the assessment of the
Combine commission, the company "Glencore" is awarded for the purchase of ores. But
he left space for the final determination of the potential winner of the tender.

Lead concentrate produced in "Trepca" contains about 70 percent of pure lead, while zinc
concentrate contains less than 50 of percent zinc.

Under the contract, last year the Swiss company "Glencore" has purchased "Trepca" ores
at the amount of 562 thousand U.S. dollars per ton of lead concentrate, and 500 dollars
per ton of zinc concentrate.
