Mitrovica - Kosovo police spokesman for the Mitrovica region, Besim Hoti, said that the situation in general is calm.
"After yesterday's rally of Serbs in northern Mitrovica, the situation today is calm and no incidents," Hoti said.
The yesterday's rally of Serbs was held on the occasion of the anniversary of the intervention of Special Unit ROSU in northern Kosovo, who again opposed the extension of the Kosovo institutions in this part.
Serbs yesterday evening blocked the Iber highway which leads to the border crossing in Jarinje G1. The other\ group was located near a cross set on the road to the village Rudare of Zvecan municipality.
