Mitrovica - Dozens of vehicles set off this morning from north part of Mitrovica and Zvecan in protest drive to the administrative crossings in northern Kosovo, Jarinje and Brnjak, expressing disapproval with the Pristina authoritys decision which have prohibited the use of Serbian license plates with the first letters of Kosovo cities issued by the Serbian Ministry of Interior.
In the convoy there are ambulance vehicles of health facilities from northern Kosovo who are registered with Serbian license plates. Convoy which set off from Mitrovica towards crossing Jarinje attach the cars from Leposavic, and those who are headed for from Zvecan crossing Brnjak and will join drivers from Zubin Potok.
Serb representatives who are in the convoy shall hand over to the EULEX officials on these two crossings letter in which they and KFOR representatives are warned to respect the UN Resolution 1244, the status neutrality, respect the human rights under the European Convention and in UN documents.
