Police officers, Beqiri and Bunjaku, will not patrol the border any more
Pristina – Shukri Binaku and Sami Beqiri will not be patrolling along the Kosovo border any more.
The two policemen who were arrested by Serbia gendarmerie in the territory of Kosovo were given a lenient punitive measure. Their position in the Police is changed and will not have the right to patrol the border. Interior Minister Bajram Rexhepi confirmed the news to "Koha Ditore".

The decision comes after the evaluation of the Kosovo Government that the two police officers should not give in to the Serbian gendarmerie on March 31 and allow to be arrested by them, because they were in the territory of Kosovo.
Kosovo police spokesman said the two police officers after the regular leave have come back to the organization, but did not indicate what their position will be after the incident.
