Zvecan - In the village of Rudare near Zvecan, in northern Kosovo, a forest fire broke out yesterday that was localized by intervention of KFOR, Besim Hoti, regional spokesman for the Kosovo police, said.
Hoti said that KFOR extinguishing the fire from the helicopter managed to localize it, but not completely to put it out
"The danger was threatening some houses at Rudare, but thanks to the intervention of KFOR, the fire was put under control," Kosovo police spokesman said.
The cause of the fire is unknown, but it is not excluded the human factor, Hoti said.
