Pristina - Kosovo journalists, revolted by the introduction of Article 37 and 38 in the new Criminal Code of Kosovo, have protested before the Kosovo Assembly today.

Through silence they have for some minutes shown "claims" of institutions to stop free speech, and through slogans have ordered institutions to "stop the games." And then their whistle served them as a response that Kosovo journalists "will not stop, even if such a thing institutions require ".

President of the Association of Kosovo Professional Journalists (AGPK), Arben Ahmeti, has estimated that Kosovo's political class by voting this Code has made a shameful act and this would not be surprising. "What remains clear is that the journalistic community will never accept the threat of imprisonment and will not remain silent towards imprisonment threats of power and politics," Ahmeti said.
