In Roma neighborhood are opened 11 businesses
Mitrovica - In Roma neighborhood of Mitrovica on Tuesday is inaugurated the "Industrial hotel", in which 11 different businesses began functioning.
At the inauguration ceremony, Deputy Minister of Labour and Social Welfare, Berat Luzha, said it was a very important day, because unemployment is a major problem throughout Kosovo, and therefore the opening of new jobs represents a significant event.
Whereas deputy mayor, Riza Haziri, said he was happy about the opportunities offered to RAE, adding that their situation has been difficult, especially at times when they lived in camps in the north.
He promised that in future the municipality will support such projects.
"We have allocated the space needed for construction of residential buildings, but we as well have allocated space for the business facilities."Representatives of various international organizations that have helped in various ways also spoke about this project that is realized with the support of SIDA. Out of 11 opened businesses in this neighborhood, five of them are already registered.
