Harvesting-threshing campaign in Mitrovica is successfully completed. Officials of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development said that wheat yields were lower compared to last year, due to agro-ecological conditions.

He said that this year in the Municipality of Mitrovica were planted 930 ha with wheat, 800 ha with oat and 45 ha with barley. "Harvesting-threshing campaign started on 06.07.2012 and lasted until 25.07. 2012 ".
Imeri stressed that the process of harvesting-threshing, despite some minor problems was performed as designed and planned by the Department of Agriculture and MAFRD.

He said that based on data from the field and analyzes, this year average yield was: 4000 kg / ha of wheat, 2100 kg / ha of oat and 2400 kg / ha of barley.
