Eset Ujkani : “I have no ambition to become Trepca manager”
Mitrovica – The appointed by KPA for the post of acting manager of the enterprise "Trepca", Eset Ujkani, which resulted in workers strike, released a press statement, saying that he has no ambition to become manager of the enterprise.
"I wish to inform the public that my post according to my valid contract with Trepca is deputy manager, a task that I performed with responsibility for several years ".
"Following the resignation of manager Ferat Shala, KPA, under whose administration Trepca is, has appointed me for acting manager of the enterprise.
Under the labor contract I have with Trepca Company, the Law on the reorganization of certain enterprises and the KPA's Law, I am obligated to respect and enforce the decisions of the KPA, "it is said in his statement.
He added that his acting appointment is temporary KPA’s decision, until another decision, while stating publicly and responsibly that he had not, nor have the ambition to be the director of Trepca.
"I believe that my name is deliberately apostrophized in the strike, in an organized way, by those who have career ambitions, who have always set a personal interest before that of the enterprise. They do not have the support of all workers, but there is a small group of manipulated workers, giving the event a political character, "says the end of his statement released to media.
However after his appointment as acting manager by KPA, miners dissatisfied with this decision, have stopped working and went on hunger strike, while they have proposed other names for the post of manager.
