Dragisa Milovic was re-elected for Zvecan mayor

Zvecan - Board members of the Zvecan Municipal Assembly on today's first regular meeting for mayor have elected Dragisa Milovic (DSS), who until now lead this municipality.

As Deputy Mayor was reelected Miodrag Acic (SPS-PUPS-JS) and on the session were elected and the five-members of municipal council. New leadership in Zvecan municipality came after the local elections which were held on this municipality on May 6th, despite the opposition of official Belgrade and the international community. Milovic emphasized that on today's session in a way was encircled the citizens will which was expressed on May 6th elections, in accordance with the Constitution and laws of Republic of Serbia, and he expressed his hope that the future government will respect the will of citizens.

Milovic stated that along with his associates shall work primarily on the preservation of peace in this municipality, and afterwards on the improvement living conditions of the citizens and employment of the youth, and he will work together with the state of Serbia and the government which will be elected
"With representatives of international institutions we will continue our cooperation in accordance with Resolution 1244 UN Security Council. We will continue the cooperation with UNMIK and OSCE also with KFOR and EULEX if their status is neutral during their mandate, and if they comply with Resolution 1244 of UN Security Council", said Milovic.
