Collar robbery becomes a frequency
Mitrovica- In the late Sunday hours Kosovo Police has arrested three suspects for robbery in complicity of a 50 –year- old woman.
Robbery occurred on "Martyrs of the Nation" street, respectively near the bus station in
Mitrovica, when they were informed that the above mentioned woman was attacked by two
young people by force, where the same had managed to rob a gold collar.
The victim stated that the two suspects grabbed by force her collar from behind breaking it
off her neck, Kosovo police notified through a press release.
Besides the driver K.J. (1987) there was also identified the first suspect XH. Tahiri (1988)
from Tuneli i Pare. The same are accompanied to the police station and after positive
identification of the suspect Xh.Tahiri, the same has stated that along with him there was
the second suspect, V.Limani, (1992) from Gjilan, who has been accommodated in a motel
in Mitrovica.
Police have located and as well sent to the police station the second suspect, V.Limani, as
the main robber.
A gold collar, which is believed to belong to the reported victim, is found in the car. The
collar was seized as part of exhibits and by the authorization of the public prosecutor it was
given back to the owner, the victim of this case.
In the car there was found a certain quantity of narcotic substance of marijuana type, except
the collar, for what the case against the suspects was initiated.
The arrested suspects, who are registered in the Mitrovica south station, were held in police
custody until the initiation of the criminal charge for in concert robbery.
