UN chief Ban Ki-moon is planning a visit to the region. Secretary General plans to stay in the Balkans for a week from July 19 -26.

The visit for the time being is not confirmed officially by Secretary General spokesman. "At the moment we cannot say anything about this", one of the spokesman said to the newspaper, Koha Ditore reports. 

However in the context of an agenda that the newspapers have seen, the UN chief will visit seven countries of the region. He will stay one day in each country, excluding Kosovo. The UN chief has planned to pay a visit to Belgrade and Pristina, within a single day.

According to unofficial agenda, Ban Ki-moon planned to visit Belgrade in the morning of July 24, whereas in the afternoon will hold meetings with representatives of the Kosovo authorities in Pristina.
