Mitrovica – Based on the Memorandum of Understanding signed on Thursday by the Mayor of Mitrovica, Avni Kastrati and Director General of the American Hospital in Tirana, Klodian Allajbeu, northern residents of this city will now be offered free hospital services by American hospital.

"The aim is that this is a modest call for all businesses that can help in solving the serious health problems of the population", Allajbeu stresses, after signing the document.  
The Hospital, according to him, will provide services to citizens of northern Mitrovica such as: heart, abdominal, eye surgery, then all orthopedic fields, etc., regardless of their ethnicity, services for which the need is greater today, 

As stated, the American hospital in Tirana and Pristina has a capacity of 200 beds, and if necessary a flexible solution will be found in order patients not to be left out. 
Another signatory of this memorandum, the Mayor Avni Kastrati, thanked the managing staff of this hospital for their goodwill to the people of Mitrovica who live in difficult conditions, noting  that this really means a lot to Mitrovica people, because they will have the free opportunity to get treated in this renowned hospital.
 
American Hospital in Pristina will provide assistance in 12 different fields such  as emergency, surgery, orthopedics, urology, pediatrics, etc., and if necessary they will be sent for medical examination in Tirana
