Mitrovica – It is notified from the northern Kosovo that almost all the polls are closed, in which the Serbs of this part of Kosovo had the opportunity to cast their vote for Serbia President and Parliament.

Although illegal, in two northern municipalities of Zvecan and Zubin Potok it was voted for local election, and it is not known whether they will be regarded by Belgrade officials or not.
Despite some irregularities and gun shots heard twice during the day in this part of Kosovo, it is considered the elections passed without significant incident.

According to the chairperson of the electoral commission, Mirjana Vasic, based on the lists for the municipal assembly members in Zvecan there have voted about 51 percent of voters, while in the municipality of Zubin Potok more than 60 percent of eligible citizens have voted.
 
Meanwhile no figures were provided for the northern Mitrovica and Leposavic municipality regarding the turn out of voters in elections
