Mitrovica - The convoy of vehicles has arrived around 10:15 on the crossings and Jarinje and Brnjak and local self-government representatives have handed over A protest letter was handed over KFOR and EULEX officials.

The letter was addressed to the KFOR commander, Erhard Drews, and chief of EULEX, Xavier de Marnhac.
In a letter EULEX and KFOR are warned to respect the UN Resolution 1244, the status neutrality, respect the human rights under the European Convention and UN documents.

From international peacekeeping missions in Kosovo citizens from northern Kosovo are asking to respect of the peoples will on non -accepting the Kosovo institutions and they are asking to stop support violent integration of northern Kosovo in Kosovo institutions. Local self-government representatives stood ten minutes in conversation with EULEX staff, after which they turned their vehicles and went back.

On the vehicles were inscriptions "Stop assimilation", "We have documents of Republic of Serbia, will don’t want Kosovo ones", "Respect the Resolution 1244". The vehicles had stickers on which stood KM letters, and they crossed over KS and RKS, except banners they carried and flags of the Republic of Serbia. During that time there was increased the presence of KFOR members, and at the crossing Jarinje was stretched barbed wire.
