A Serb from Belgrade was arrested because of weapon possession
Kosovo police yesterday arrested a Serb from Belgrade in northern part of Mitrovica because of weapon possession. Arrested person is member of a group of sport fans from Belgrade.
Deputy Regional Director of the Kosovo Police Ergin Medic said that Kosovo police in northern part of Mitrovica, arrested a Serb from Belgrade because of weapon possession. Medic said that the arrested person is a Belgrade resident and that police found a firearm on his possesion.
"Members of the Kosovo police seized weapon that was found in this possession, which provided resistance during the arrest", said Medic and added that to the arrested was determined 48 hour police custody. Kosovo police last night around 20:30 and conducted a search of one apartment in northern part of Mitrovica, and the police action is associated with the arrest of this person.
