Mexico City- Jason de Caires Taylor, the founder and artistic director of the Subaqatico de Arte Museum (MUSA) has completely a different method of work from his fellow sculptors.

In fact, the distinction of his work lies in exposure. He realizes realistic sculptures that represent people and exposes them in the bottom of the sea on the shores of Grenada of Mexico. In time, his sculptures are covered with various sea creatures.

Corals play an important role in this process. They almost change the image of his sculptures. They become scary. But this whole process is part of the creativity of this artist. In Mexican waters he has sunk 400 sculptures.
