Multiethnic concert in Mitrovica Culture Center
Mitrovica - In "Rexhep Mitrovica" Culture Center, under the organization of theYouth Progress of Ashkali Association in Mitrovica (YPAA) a multiethnic concert was hold, which was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Culture, municipal officials and citizens from different communities living in Mitrovica.
Before the jammed auditorium were performed dance and folk songs of communities living in the city, where group of young dancers of Turkish and Roma communities, which was formed recently, were distinguished which was formed recently.
This cultural event is sponsored by the Municipal Assembly of Mitrovica, and it is regarded as one of the activities that help the integration of RAE communities in post-war Kosovo society.
“YPAA” Executive Director, Milaim Ramadani, is satisfied with the course of the concert; he also thanked the municipality of Mitrovica for its support.
However the ”YPAA” association is known as a very active NGO that helps to sensitize RAE community members about the importance of education, their integration into society, organization in marking the anniversaries of the dates of this community, organizing concerts, sports activities, etc.
